Should You Pull?
Yes, if you have the means. However, after Blaze and the excellent Standard Pool 13, and with limited Operator Nian coming next, your resources are likely at the breaking point.
This banner is most useful if you are a newer player who hasn’t filled all the roles in your squad yet. All three of these Operators are very strong examples of their class (Sniper, AoE Guard, and DP-on-Kill Vanguard, respectively). However, none of them are irreplaceable.
Even if you’re passing on this banner, you may want to do Headhunt x1 until you pull a 5★ or higher Operator, since one is guaranteed in the first 10 rolls.
Quick Overview
Anti-Air Sniper
+ Devours low-DEF enemies faster than she eats apple pie
+ Very consistent damage output
+ Wildly effective when buffed by other Operators (i.e., Sora, Warfarin)
- Requires buffs to be effective against enemies with more than 600 DEF (common in high-end content)
AoE Guard
+ Gigantic amounts of AoE Arts damage with S2
+ One of the few Operators who can compete with Blaze’s damage output, despite being a lower rarity than she is
= Increases his attack range with S2 the way Blaze does with her S2, but his is temporary, not permanent
- Comparatively squishy for an AoE Guard because he lacks strong defensive options
- S2 has to be carefully timed, because it Stuns him after completion
DP-on-Kill Vanguard
+ High RES due to her Talent, which helps her to survive on the frontlines or assassinate enemy Casters
+ Deals Physical and Arts damage with S2 (although the Arts damage dealt is small)
+ Doubles her DP gain with S2
- Typical weaknesses of her archetype: Block-1 and has to land the killing blow to earn DP
Exusiai
Never fear, the mighty Sniper Exusiai is here! She’ll eat you out of house and home (starting with your apple pies), but she’ll pay you back by filling every enemy, obstacle, and minor inconvenience with several dozen rounds of lead. Admittedly, she can struggle against high-DEF enemies, but because of the way her Skills increase her number of attacks, she benefits from buffs more than most other Operators in Arknights. Pair Exusiai with some helpful support units and watch her fly. Nobody in Penguin Logistics has to work alone!
Broca
In many ways, Broca is the husbando equivalent of Blaze. Equipped with a drill instead of a chainsaw and Arts lightning instead of raging fire, Broca raises the bar for damage potential in Arknights. His S2 combines Arts damage, enhanced ATK, increased attack range, and a Slow effect into one glorious package. He’s more dependent on his allies than some AoE Guards, since his stamina is poor and his S2 Stuns him after finishing, but with proper protection, Broca’s is the drill that will pierce the heavens!
Reed
The draconic blood that runs in Reed’s veins gives her the power to resist Arts damage, but it doesn’t account for her Originium powers, which allow her to make others explode. Oddly enough, exploding people is a pretty effective way to kill them, which might be why Reed makes for such a good DP-on-Kill Vanguard. With hybrid damage from her S2, hybrid defenses from her Talent, and the ability to double her DP gain from kills, this flame-tailed femme fatale is absolute dynamite on the battlefield.
