New Code Discovery
On December 11, 2019, Niantic released a sweeping change to Pokemon moves, rebalanced moves, as well as added 5 more moves to their database. We have summarized these changes in several articles listed below; however, the day still isn't over for Pokemon GO!
Several new sprites have been discovered in the game's code, giving us a look at Pokemon with party hats!!!
The newly discovered Pokemon were also added with several sprites that have been missing from the Unova set of Pokemon. Shiny Galarian Zigzagoon and Linoone were also included.
None of these assets have been announced to be used in the game as of yet; trainers will be sure to keep an eye out for the hotly-anticipated Party Hat Wurmple, arriving hopefully soon.
