Spring has sprung for those of us in the Northern hemisphere, and it's time to celebrate the nature of our planet, and our role in keeping it safe and healthy. To help out, we've got a new event featuring a new Pokemon, and even a new Shiny for those who are particularly lucky to add to their collections!

- Oranguru makes its grand debut, and Cherubi will have its shiny forme released.
- A new Collection Challenge will be available
- An event box featuring Mossy Lure(s) will be available in the shop
- Field Research tasks that reward Mega Venusaur and Mega Abomasnow energy will be available
- 2x XP will be rewarded for spinning a Pokestop for the first time
- During Stufful Community Day, a special research line will be made available that will reward 1 Cherubi per 1km walked for the way. For every player that walks 5km during the day, Niantic will plant 1 tree.
- A special set of Pokemon will spawn in the wild more frequently:

During this period, there will be Timed Research available. Each phase will require you to adventure 1 km, and doing so will earn you an encounter with Cherubi.
During the entire day of April 23, 2022, every Trainer who adventures 5 km during Community Day, Niantic will plant a tree (up to 100,000 trees). So get exploring!
Collection Challenge
A nature-inspired Collection Challenge is coming!
Complete it to contribute to your Elite Collector medal and earn a Mossy Lure Module and 15 Great Balls.
Two of the Pokémon you’ll need to catch—Gloom and Weepinbell—will only appear when you use a Mossy Lure Module.
