The Water Fest is back again! Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere are right on Summer's doorstep, with many of us enjoying summer-like weather already. Now is the time for us to cooldown, and how better than with a little water? We've got a lot going on for this event, so let's get into it!

- Rainy Lure Modules last 2 hours
- Dewpider and Araquanid will make their grand debut in Pokemon Go
- Lapras will be available wearing a scarf
- Shiny Bianacle and Barbaracle will be available for the first time
- A global challenge focused on catching a grand total of 600,000,000 (six hundred million) Water Type Pokemon will be available, with a 2x Catch Candy reward for completion.
- The Poni Island Special Research line will be available.
- A timed research line will be available that rewards Mega Gyarados Energy, Stardust, XP, and encounters with Scarf Lapras and Dewpider.
