Overview

Excadrill hits hard and has coverage for a number of its counters, and that's about all that can be said for everyone's favorite Drill-Mole. Excadrill is one of those Pokemon that relies on its HP more than its Defense for bulk, which translates into poor raid performance. You can find a plethora of Pokemon that can easily make this duo, but keep in mind that, again, Excadrill hits hard. It could potentially take down a team if you're not careful.

Approach

Team Composition

  • Fire Types tend to have the strongest overall performance, but they need to watch out for Rock Slide and/or Ground Type moves
  • Good old Machamp is a Champ with no weaknesses, and most Water Type counters are very safe as well
  • Nothing is particularly "glassy" in this raid outside of weaknesses. That said, front-load any Pokemon that may have weaknesses to Excadrill's moves in order to maximize their performance

Battling Strategy

  • You should have ample time to win this with the right counters, feel free to dodge if needed

Note: "Good" movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
