Season Events

Go Battle Day: Mankey

June 18, 2022

This event will feature 4x Stardust rewards and guaranteed Mankey encounters. Any Mankey evolved into Primape during this event will know Cross Chop.

A timed research line will also be available with a focus on battling. This event features the following rewards:

  • XP
  • Rare Candy
  • Bea-Style Gloves (will not stack with season rewards)
  • An Elite Charge TM

Go Battle Weekend

July 9 - July 10

We don't have any information at this point, but we know that this event will feature all three main leagues.

Go World Championships Event

This will take place during the August 17 - August 24 period featuring the Great League and Fighting Cup, and that's all that we know right now.

GO Battle League Season 11 is set to begin!

After a relaxing season off, it’s time to get back to battling with Season 11! We’ve got a whole slew of new cups just waiting to be won, and of course we can’t forget to mention the ongoing Pokémon GO World Championship Series events!

Season 11 start date, rank resets, and end-of-season rewards

GO Battle League Season 11 will start on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7).

The following will occur at the beginning of the season.

  • End-of-season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
  • Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
  • Rank-up requirements will remain the same as in Season 10.

Season 11 GO Battle Events

GO Battle Day: Mankey

Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time

A GO Battle Day featuring Mankey, plus the return of a featured attack for its Evolution, Primeape!

Bonuses

  • 4× Stardust from win rewards.
  • The maximum number of sets you can play per day will be increased from five to 20—for a total of 100 battles—from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.

Featured Pokémon - Mankey

Available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time

  • Mankey will be guaranteed to appear as a reward encounter.
  • In each set, the first win reward from the Basic track will be a reward encounter. The second through fifth win rewards will remain unchanged.
  • All win rewards from the Premium track will be reward encounters.

Evolve Mankey during the three hours of the event, or up to two hours after it, to get a Primeape that knows the Charged Attack Cross Chop.

Timed Research

Timed Research focused on battling will be available for the whole day!

* Trainers who have already received the Bea-style Gloves avatar item from the rank 20 rewards will not receive another.

Trainers will be able to earn avatar items and a pose inspired by Bea, Gym Leader of Stow-on-Side's Gym in Pokémon Sword!
