Heatran, the Fire/Steel Type Lava Dome Pokemon, is coming back to the raid scene!

Heatran is an interesting Pokemon in Go. Pre-release, it was heralded to be one of the potentially strongest Fire Types in the entire game due to its good stats and extremely complementary Fire/Steel typing, but on release it was given Fire Blast, which is one of the worst charged moves that it could have gotten minus absolutely terrible moves like Flame Wheel. In a later update, it was given Flamethrower, which has raised its stature to a niche though powerful Pokemon in both raids and PvP, where the huge list of resistances that it sports can artificially raise its relative bulk to insane levels. We still don't have its signature move, Magma Storm, but it's definitely worth trying to catch a good Heatran during this re-run!
