Overview

Lunatone and Solrock are essentially identical, with their sole difference in Pokemon GO being one of their charge moves. Solrock is therefore slightly more difficult on average due to possibly packing Solar Beam.

However, both have 7 type weaknesses to prey on, almost all of which are represented among their top counters. Most raid-savvy trainers should have enough such counters lying around to whip up a team without much advance preparation.

Approach

Team composition

  • Kyogre, Groudon, and Mewtwo are great for facilitating low level clears

  • At high levels (≥30), decent attackers hitting 1 of 7 weaknesses suffice

Dodging strategy

  • At low levels (≤30), advise dodging a few charge moves to not wipe out

Good movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
