Overview

With piecemeal changes to the game making raids easier and easier, few tier 4 raids remain truly difficult. This is one of them. Duoing Metagross is reminiscent of the old days where friendship and weather boosts didn’t exist. Metagross’s big defense stat and typing render the duo possible only in 2 kinds of weather, one of which may as well not exist. There aren’t many viable options, and its sets may push your dodging skills to their limits. Good luck.

Approach

Team composition

  • Options are very limited. Legendaries are bulkier, but you have to use what you can.

Dodging strategy

  • You cannot relobby. Dodge to minimize wasted energy, and know when to tank a hit.

Note: "Good" movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
