As many predicted, Go Fest is ready to go out with a bang as the now-over Season of Alola makes a revisit! Last year we had Hoopa open a portal in the sky to announce its coming, and this year Ultra Wormholes split the heavens to herald the coming of the first of many; Nihilego!

This Poison/Rock Type Pokemon will be available in Five Star raids, but let's take a look at what else we can look forward to.

Pokemon Go Fest: Day 2

  • The Ultra Beast Nihilego will be available in Five Star Raids from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. local time
  • A special-research line will be available
  • A second special-research line will be available for Go Fest ticketholders
  • Global challenges will be available that will grant special bonuses when completed:

Trainers,

We’ve received numerous reports of Ultra Wormholes appearing in the sky around the world! We’ve managed to confirm that these Ultra Wormholes connect to Ultra Space—a world different from ours where mysterious Ultra Beasts appear. Trainers are advised not to approach these Ultra Wormholes or toss Berries into them. Surprisingly, it was confirmed that Ultra Beasts are coming to this world!

Team GO Rocket and a curious individual from the GO Ultra Recon Squad have also been sighted near the Ultra Wormholes. Keep your eyes peeled for the following during Pokémon GO Fest.

Nihilego emerges!

Nihilego, the Parasite Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time! Nihilego is a Rock- and Poison-type Pokémon. A life-form from another world, it was dubbed an Ultra Beast and is thought to produce a strong neurotoxin. Try using some Ground-type Pokémon you catch during Pokémon GO Fest to get an advantage in battle!

Special Research

Investigate the mysterious Ultra Wormholes and Ultra Beasts with the GO Ultra Recon Squad! All Trainers can complete Special Research tasks to learn more about the Ultra Wormholes appearing around the world.

Ticket-exclusive Special Research

Earn rewards and spend time with a member of the GO Ultra Recon Squad!

Global Challenges

Global Challenges will be available to all Trainers on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time! Work with other Trainers around the world to defeat Pokémon in raids and earn 2× XP in raids, 2× Candy from five-star raid Pokémon, and 2× Stardust in raids!

Where’s Professor Willow…?

In all the commotion, Professor Willow appears to have vanished… Has anyone seen him?
