December 2020 Community Day Details Announced

It's finally time to see 2020 out the door, and Niantic is giving us our Community Day recap as has been tradition. It's a big one, and it does not include 2018 Community Days.

Pokemon Appearing in the Wild

If this event is anything like the 2019 Community Day recap, all of these Pokemon will have a somewhat raised shiny rate, even if not featured in a bonus time.

Community Day Moves

During this 2-day span, all Pokemon from 2019 and 2020 Community Days will be able to learn their Elite Moves on evolution. In order to reference this, please take a look at our community day list:

Community Day Purchasable Items

Community Day Box

A special Community Day box will be available for 1,280 coins in the shop. This box will contain:

  • 30 Ultra Balls
  • 5 Lucky Eggs
  • 1 Elite Fast TM
  • 1 Elite Charged TM

Exclusive Research

As has been tradition for a while now, a timed research line will be available via the shop for $1. Niantic has not announced what the rewards will be, which is especially interesting given the fact that we have 22 Pokemon featured for this community day.

  • 1/2 Egg Incubation distance
  • 3 hour Incense
  • Increased frequency of Mega Gengar raids
  • Increased spawn rate/shiny rate for the following Pokemon
