New Storage Capabilities

On November 22, 2019, Niantic officially announced the expansion of Pokemon GO's storage systems!

Both Pokemon storage and Item storage will be expanded to 3,000 and 2,500 respectively. This represents an expansion of 500 slots for each storage system.

None of the expanded space is free, players must pay 200 PokeCoins for each storage system to expand the space by 50 for Pokemon and items.

The last time storage was expanded was in July of 2019, when Pokemon storage increased from 2,000 to 2,500. Check out the article below for that information.

Do you think storage has been expanded enough to account for Gen 5 releases? Will there be enough storage for your Pokemon? Let us know in the comments!
