New Event: Eggstravaganza 2019
On April 9, 2019, Niantic announced a return of the Eggstravaganza event. From April 16th to the 23rd, the following will be active:
- Baby Pokemon available in 2km eggs
- Shiny Buneary will be available
- 2x Hatch Candy
- 2x Incubator Effectiveness
- 10km Eggs = 5km
- 7km Eggs = 3.5km
- 5km Eggs = 2.5km
- 2km Eggs = 1km
- Lucky Eggs will last 1 hour
- New Egg-focused research

Trainers,
The Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza is back, and it’s time to hop to it, Trainers! Pokémon like Pichu, Smoochum, and Magby will be available in 2 km Eggs, and Egg-focused Field Research will be available to complete. Every Egg hatched during the event will also include bonus Candy to help you power up your newly hatched Pokémon. Buneary is joining in the festivities, and if you’re lucky, you may encounter the Shiny form of this Rabbit Pokémon!

- Apr. 16, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Apr. 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7)
Features
- Pokémon like Pichu, Smoochum, and Magby will be in 2 km Eggs.
- If you’re lucky, you may encounter Shiny Buneary!
- You may find different Pokémon hatching from Eggs than before.

- Limited-time Egg-focused Field Research will be available during this event.
