Overview

Absol is usually the easiest tier 4 raid boss available for any given raid rotation, with at least a dozen unique Pokémon consistently able to beat it at level 30 without weather boost. Absol offers the same rewards as any other tier 4 boss as well as the opportunity for a shiny. This is a great place to start your path of duoing tier 4s as you build your teams for the tougher bosses.

Approach

Team Composition

  • Of all the options, Fighting-types tend to have a better resistance profile vs. Absol’s moves

  • Many Pokemon hit the 25 DPS needed to be eligible for a successful Duo, even beyond this list.

Dodging Strategy

  • Absol has low defense but high damage. Doodging is a good idea to keep from having to reloby..

Counters

Note: "Good" movesets are not necessarily viable at the level indicated.
