Overview

Although a pretty useless Pokemon, Azumarill is an easy target for players itching to spend their free Raid Pass. Azumarill’s defense stat is mediocre, and its attack stat is abysmal. Its fast moves, however, pack a punch, and all of its charge moves are irksome. Play Rough and Ice Beam are strong with 2 bars and hit early, while Hydro Pump is among the most difficult charge moves to dodge.

At level 20, only a handful of species are viable, and the battle may be close. At level 25, many more options open up. Once you’re at level 30, though, most any half decent Electric, Grass, or Poison attacker will do the trick.
