Safari Zone Montreal Now Underway

Event Begins Today

Today starts Pokemon Go's latest Safari Zone in Montreal. 

Local players attending the event can enjoy the release of several Pokemon species that are stated to evolve into "Speedy Pokemon", encounters with Unown that spell out "QUBEC", and spawns of the regional pokemon Tropius. Players globally will also be given the chance to catch shiny Yanma for the first time.

The event was first announced on August 7th, 2019 and will take place in "Circuit Gilles Villeneuve at beautiful Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saint Helen’s Island and Notre Dame Island in Montreal, Quebec, Canada"  from September 20, 2019 to September 22, 2019.

The Montreal Safari Zone Medal is available to all ticketed players in attendance, with multiple versions depending on day of attendance.
