As Virizion leaves next week, Niantic has confirmed that it's set to be replaced by its fellow trio member, the Rock/Fighting Type Pokemon, Terrakion!

This will also mark the release of Terrakion's particularly striking shiny forme, for those of us who will be lucky enough to encounter it.

And to cap it all off, we have a Raid Hour scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.

Terrakion's Return

As of right now we have no word on Terrakion learning the signature move of the Swords of Justice, Sacred SwordThis means that Terrakion's standing shouldn't see any sort of shift with this release; it's still a top Rock Type attacker for raids, and still of extremely low use in PvP. For now, Terrakion primarily remains a collector's piece with raid utility.
