I got lucky today and hatched a perfect Machop - my first meta-relevant 100%er! Here's the "catch": I already have three mixed-IV L30 Machamps with C/DP, C/CC, and KC/CC respectively. I catch about one Machop per day so candy isn't really an issue but I'm pretty low on dust and even if this Machop rolled C/DP it would take me a while to pump it up, plus I would hate getting double Steel moves. Given that I already have a bunch of good fighting mons, would you maybe just sit on this for trading/gym rebalance?

Sit on it since you have no need for another Machamp. It is more valuable as a ? Machop full of potential than a ? Machamp with a bad moveset.

May the RNG gods bless your 100% IV Machop with BP/HS once it is fully evolved :-)

Since you don't need another Machamp now, hold on to this 100% Machop. There could be new movesets in future and you can try for those.

Given it's a Perfect IV, id hate to see it not to be evolved, so id evolve it, see what happens

As much as I agree that this mon should be evolved, it is reasonable to wait until you are in a better dust position.

In your case evolve it and only power it up if you get counter and either close combat or dynamic punch. Then power only to 1200 or so and use it as a prestige partner for your Snoralax and Tryantaur high CP partner.

Why wait for dust ???? Just evolve to see what you get for a good move set then horde dust. It's 100% so with the right moveset you could use it the entire time you are powering it up. Flag it for power up or candy-ize it. But don't hold it till you farm the all the candies to power level it all at once. Use it to prestige that lvl 9 gym u come across with that 2100 Blissey or Tryantaur or Snoralax sitting there in the last spot with your 10lvl Champ. FTW

If you don't need it, then don't. I have a perfect Haunter that I just keep as is because I already have a couple of Gengar with great movesets, some legacy, some new, so it's pointless for me, but to be fair Gengar's best movesets are all legacy and Machamp's aren't.

Wait 'til the moves are changed again. Maybe they'll even get rid of BP :)
