Mewtwo

My plan has remained unchanged:

- Keep raiding for candy
- Use candy to work on maxing out my 93% Shadow Ball Mewtwo (currently ~L34)
- If unable to get enough candy before the 23rd drop rare candy to cover the difference (I have over 550 RC)
- Keep highest IV Mewtwo of other charge moves
- Mark the rest for trade or transfer, depending on Halloween bonuses

The only thing I'm undecided on is what to do with my current L35 Mewtwo. It has Shadow Ball and was my first and only for several months having gotten it during the field test period but it's only 78% IV with 11a. I want to max it but 35 -> 40 is stupid expensive for little gain.

In your case I'd power up the Shadow Ball one for sure and sit on the other two for the time being, unless you need an ice attacker and a psychic attacker.

I had planned on powering up an ice beam and focus blast and have 96% and 93% candidates for those. I don’t really need a TB, certainly don’t need a flamethrower or Hyperbeam, and I’m going to wait for a possible Mewtwo day with a (hopefully) improved Psystrike before powering up a double psychic.

However, I’m not powering up anything until we find out what the upcoming stat rebalance does. I’m not too worried about Mewtwo becoming irrelevant because of it. But it might mean that I do need a TB one (for example) instead.

Edit: I already have 4 maxed out shadow ball and have no plans to change any of those.

I used up all of my premium passes so I am now going casually at it using only the daily free one. I just need to catch one more so I can finish maxing a fourth shadow ball one and I'll save any extra candies I get before it leaves. If I get enough pinap catches I'll max a fifth one, but only if.

Got a 98% Newtwo too, so that's cool.

I already have a perfect Mewtwo with shadow ball and over 300 candies, and I just transfer all my other mewtwos - I only keep one for each pokemon.

Maxed 15a/14/15 ShB and a 15a/11/15 ShB long time ago. Lucky ShB 12/14/12 is at level 38. 13a/13/11 Ice beam is at 3550. Have 14a/13/15 lucky Ice Beam at 2700. Probably get that last one to level 35. Not much Mewtwo raiding around here, I bought 1 ultra box...11 premium passes left

Just gonna keep catching the best IV Mewtwos I can find. Once I got it after 23rd, I planned to change its charged move to Psychic, since I already have other pokemons who already benefits the Fighting, Ice, Electric & Fire charged moves.

If you're wondering, my 1st Mewtwo was the time when they made it as an ordinary T5 raid, so I don't have a Hyper Beam/Shadow Ball Mewtwo.
