It's Wednesday, that means that it's Spotlight Day. And for today's featured Pokemon, we can look forward to Shuppet. However, all is not as it seems! Alongside the Shuppet spawns, players have reported seeing their current buddy Pokemon spawning... and these spawns have been confirmed to be an illusion spawned by the Dark Type Pokemon Zorua!
But, once again, not all is as it seems. Due to an error, Zorua was spawning with incorrect data and has been disabled for the remaining Spotlight Hours, as highlighted by this thread on Niantic Support's official Twitter account:
Trainers, we are aware of a bug where Zorua, a Pokémon with a planned surprise encounter during October 25th’s Shuppet Spotlight Hour, retains stats such as the height, CP, and attacks of the Pokémon it originally took on the form of.

We currently don't have any word as to if Zorua will have any sort of a makeup event, but stay tuned as we will definitely share updates to this story as it progresses.
