Game Available Now in Select Regions

On Thursday, June 25, 2019, Pokemon Masters was released in a preview form to players in Singapore and Canada.

Players who are outside these two countries are not out of luck though, as there is a way to download and start playing the game now!

Find the APK

To start, you must have an Android phone.

A link to the APK is available at this link.

After downloading this APK, you must enable the ability to install external apps. You should receive a pop-up message to enable it specifically through Google Drive. The setting can also be changed in the "Settings" menu. Select "Security and Privacy", go to "More settings", and select "Install apps from external sources".

Use a VPN UPDATE: NOT NECESSARY

UPDATE: VPN NO LONGER REQUIRED TO CONNECT TO POKEMON MASTERS. JUST BE SURE TO SELECT SINGAPORE OR CANADA AS YOUR REGION WHEN REGISTERING OR YOU WILL BE DISCONNECTED

After downloading the APK, you'll want to find a VPN, or Virtual Private Network, in order for your machine to think it's in Singapore. We recommend Surf VPN in order to access a Singapore location. It's free to download and use on the Play Store.

When you are trying to play the game, make sure that the VPN is Connected before opening the game or you will get a notice that the game is doing maintenance.

Downloading Game Data

Pokemon Masters is a small initial installation but ramps up to over 1 GB after several missions.

Players who are having difficulties downloading the large file size should consider disconnecting from their VPN in the middle of the download in order to increase speeds.

You must reconnect to the VPN once the download is finished.
