Connectivity and Compatibility Issues Hit Pokemon Masters at Launch

Why Can't My Phone Run Pokemon Masters?

Pokemon Masters launched on Android on the evening August 28th, 2019, several hours before the launch event started in-game. iOS release followed shortly thereafter. However, many players were having an issue finding the game on the Google Play Store. As stated in the Reddit Questions and Advice Megathread for r/PokemonMasters:

Q: My Android version matches and my phone meets the games requirements but it still doesn't work.

A: The game is built for 64-bit systems. Your version of Android may be 32-bit. This appears to be common on Motorola devices.

Players will have to check their phone's settings to discover what type of processor architecture their phone has. This guide tells you how to do that.

iOS users had a similar issue of the game unable to be downloaded at the beginning of the launch but u/kevinelguapo helped a lot of users out.

Connection Issues at the Beginning

The game seemed to be unavailable for several hours at the start, according to several Reddit memes on the front page of r/PokemonMasters.

The connectivity issues didn't last particularly long. Players should have no problem accessing the game today. You can click these links to find the game on iOS and Android!
