Raid Strategy: VS MetalGarurumon

Here’s a good read while preparing a raid team. Remember that we are trying to grind the raid efficiently. NOT trying to defeat the level 10 raid solo.

• He is a TEC type Digimon
• He has 2 ST skills
• He can inflict Freeze with main skill. Freeze is very annoying as it literally remove the frozen Digimon out of the battle. The affected Digimon cannot be targeted by any skill effect, both from your own team and your opponent. All buffs are also automatically dispelled
• He buffs his own TEC with main skill; also buff his own Critical Rate with sub-skill
• He is vulnerable to damage over time and innately immune to all other status effects

Use them if you have them, they are tailored made for this raid.

• Plesiomon - hands down the MVP for this raid. He provides Freeze immunity to your whole team and also provide heals, which is great especially for auto battle. However, Plesiomon can only be gotten via tutorial gacha so not many players will have him.
• AeroVeedramon - once again, you cannot farm any raid without a DEF debuff and AeroVeedramon provides the strongest DEF debuff at 40%. It also deals great damage himself.
• Offensive buffer - another mandatory team member. Use MetalGreymon or Lilamon for PWR buff; Use Wisemon or WaruSeadramon for TEC buff. Use whichever is the higher skill level.
• WarGreymon or MetalGarurumon - currently the strongest Single Target DPS in the game. Self-explanatory. If you have both, use them both since they can buff themselves and be self-sufficient.

These are good choices but you need to build a specific team around them and hence may not be possible for everyone.

• Pandamon - Provide Freeze immunity to Calm allies only and debuff MetalGarurumon’s TEC.
• Titamon - immunity to Freeze for Brave allies only. Debuff PWR resistance to boost PWR allies damage and inflict Poison for additional chip damage. However, Titamon can only be pulled from tutorial gacha.

These Digimons may seem good on paper but they are actually not practical for this raid.

• SuperStarmon/GranKuwagamon - tank ST skills from MetalGarurumon. However, once they got frozen, they are no longer targetable by MetalGarurumon, essentially making them useless.
• WaruSeadramon - 60% TEC buffer and provide freeze immunity to Deft allies only. Unfortunately, the only Deft TEC Digimons that are usable are Ravemon, Platinumnumemon, NoblePumpkinmon, LadyDevimon, all of them are not well suited for PvE. But usable if you have high enough skill level or not other better options.
• Monzaemon (Brave) - Freeze immunity to Brave allies only. He is an absolute deadweight to bring to a team. You might as well just use your usual Brave team and deal with the Freeze effect.

Plesiomon + AeroVeedramon + WarGreymon or MetalGarurumon + PWR or TEC buffer + 3rd PWR or TEC DPS

Titamon + AeroVeedramon + WarGreymon + BlackMetalGreymon + Boltmon or VenomMyotismon or any Brave DPS

These 2 teams are immune to Freeze and able to dish out huge DPS. However, the team is highly specific and utilize Digimons that are hard to get.

AeroVeedramon + Pandamon + Wisemon + MetalGarurumon + Calm DPS

A more accessible team. AeroVeedramon will not be immune to Freeze so make sure you use his sub-skill for DEF debuff before he gets frozen by Raid boss.

However, this will need you to pull for MetalGarurumon which you may not have or not fully digivolved yet since you are still farming the raid. You can use 2 Calm DPS instead but no one can come close to MetalGarurumon in terms of DPS.

AeroVeedramon + WarGreymon + PWR buffer + 2 PWR DPS

This is probably your Wargreymon raid team. Essentially, you can just suck it up with Freeze and try to brute force the boss down.
