Another Games Launcher...

September 17th, 2019, Rockstar Games announced that alongside the Epic Games Store, Origin, uPlay, and Steam, they would be releasing their own launcher starting that day. The Rockstar Games Launcher gets 0 points for an interesting name but full marks for having all the Grand Theft Auto games available. Which, of course, they were already via Steam...

Oh wait, it doesn't have all the Grand Theft Auto games, it's missing GTAIV...

And Liberty City Stories as well. Hmm.

It can only be speculated as to why Rockstar was interested in making their own launcher. With all the hubbub the Epic Games Store caused when starting the conversation on what the correct revenue split is between sales platform and game, Rockstar's service seems to have come out to little to no fanfare. You can get a free copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for downloading it, you get cloud saves and background downloading, and... that's about it.
