Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac Announced

On August 29th, 2019, YOOZOO Games announced the game Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac will be making its way to a global release later this year. YOOZOO is partnering with Tencent for development and artist and writer Masami Kurumada, creator and author of the franchise.

Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac features "action-packed, visually immersive" gameplay with "stunning  3D graphics." It follows the original story of the Saints, warriors imbued with the power of the zodiac, fighting against "other Olympian gods who want to dominate Earth". The prolific anime and manga series began in Japan in 1988, but was localized to America only in 2003. 

This is the third Saint Seiya mobile game to make its way to the US. Saint Seiya Cosmo Fantasy released several years ago from Bandai Namco and Saint Seiya: Galaxy Spirits (Olympus Guild War) came from DeNA Hong Kong before that. They are still available in the Play Store for fans who are itching for some Knights of the Zodiac gameplay.
