Shadowverse Grand Prix: Sasamumu Crowned Champion, Nier: Automata and Idolmaster Tie-in, Next Grand Prix Coming 2020!

On December 25th, Christmas day, the best Shadowverse Players from around the world came to Japan to compete in the yearly Shadowverse Grand Prix for a chance at the million dollar grand prize.

This tournament featured decks revolving around the newest expansion Verdant Conflict, with the finalists' decks mostly built around the Natura archetype on Forestcraft, Dragoncraft and Havencraft. The top 8 players in the grand finals who fought their hardest on day 2 were Tabata/SHG, ZeNX, AzureCloud, pazuu, sasamumu, jupi/Qwert, Tsubaki, and yoyo. 

The Championship Finals were a tense back and forth between sasamumu and jupi/Qwert that went all the way to the fifth match. After an evenly matched back and forth, sasamumu clutched victory with perfect lethal on Dragoncraft over Jupi/Qwert's Havencraft deck, taking home the $1,000,000 grand prize.

Next year's Shadowverse Grand Prix was announced, with a $1,000,000 USD prize for the winner!  A total of 24 spots have been announced, with competitors earning the spots through various championships across the globe.  Stay tuned for more details!

The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls - Spring 2020

Nier: Automata - Summer 2020

A new "Challenge Master" Flair will be obtainable from winning a number of 5-Victory Runs of Take Two or Open 6 Game Modes.  There will be a new flair every three months!

Effective December 27th, there will be a few changes regarding the Grandmaster and Master ranks.

First, Master Scores will no longer reset each month, but every three months.  

Next, Grand Master ranks will be split from 0 to 3, with increased rewards for hitting each tier.  Grand Master Rank is now obtainable by reaching 10,000 Master Points within a three month period, but will reset to 10,000 points and Grand Master Rank 0 every month.  Grandmaster Points will reset to 0 every 3 months.

User Generated Tournaments will be coming to Shadowverse, allowing for even more ways to set up events and play!  Anyone can create a tournament. More details to arrive in 2020.
