TEPPEN World Championships 2019 Sponsored by Amazon Takes Place December 21

One of the biggest mobile games to come out this year is TEPPEN, Capcom and GungHo's real-time card-based combat game for iOS and Android. The game, which has been downloaded over 3 million times and features characters from a plethora of Capcom games, will be featured in an international tournament held in Tokyo, Japan on December 21.

Competitors from North America, Europe, and all over Asia participated in qualifying tournaments held on October 5. The qualifying contestants will move onto the TEPPEN World Championship 2019 to face each other and the Japan representative, who is being decided on November 23. 

Since TEPPEN's release in July of this year, there have been two expansions to the game: DAY OF NIGHTMARES, based on the Resident Evil series, and The Devil's Awaken, which comes with characters from Devil May Cry 5.
