Fight with the Spirit of Christmas Carnivals in Mahjong Soul!

Mahjong Soul, the Anime-themed Japanese Riichi mahjong game published by Yostar, began it's holiday celebration Christmas Carnival today on both mobile and the web version of the game!  Log in to claim massive amounts of free currency, while new Christmas themed gameplay, skins, and decorations are now available!

In the spirit of Christmas, Chiori not only has plenty of gifts to share with the player, but also challenges you to a mission-based bingo for even more rewards!  Every day players can complete up to four tasks to claim copper, affiliation gifts, spheres, and more.

Open Hand Match is a special, limited-time game mode available from 12/11 8:00 PM to 12/26 1:59 PM PST.

Players start the match with their hands shown to others.  After discarding the first tile however, the other players' draws will not be shown for the rest of the match. 

The effective spirit of Christmas means gifts aplenty.  Treat yourself to new Christmas themed skins! Festive costumes are available for Chiori Mikami, Kana Fujita, Yui Yagi, and Sora Ichinose!

Additionally, a new lobby background is available - the Snow White Shrine Yard.  The relaxing scenery also warms the soul with flickering lights.

Tablecloths are available as well - bring Christmas Spirit to the table, literally!

Christmas Carnival will also feature the Local Yaku, which will be available in Tournament and Friendly Match modes.  Hopefully this Easter Egg will also bring some holiday joy to the players who stumble upon it!
