WRLDCRAFT - a Minecraft Style AR Geolocation Game - to Launch Friday, June 28th
- WRLDCRAFT launches June 28th with Gold Veins throughout the world
- Mine blocks, collect resources, build permanent structures that your friends can see in AR
- Fight Monsters or Complete the King's Quests
There's a new geolocaiton AR game coming to space - and it looks a lot more like Minecraft than it does like Pokemon Go or Jurassic World Alive -- which is funny because Minecraft is releasing their own AR game soon called Minecraft Earth.
But WRLDCRAFT may have beat them to the punch with their own take on 8-bit RPG style gameplay mixed with resource collection and creation. Check out the trailer below to see what I mean:
In the press release from Running Pixel - WrldCraft will allow users to:
- Build persistent geolocated structures -- forever.
- Cover the entire Earth with blocks and structures, connected to each other.
- Continue at home what you started outdoors, others will see in realtime what has changed.
- Quests
- Fight Monsters
- Build outside publicly or inside privately on a table -- shared only with friends and family.
- Multiplayer or single player fun
- Dig in the terrain to find gold, manufacturing items, or relics
- Gold veins will be placed throughout the world on the launch date.
Honestly, there's a lot of interesting stuff to do in this new WrldCraft game, and we're definitely interested in trying it out. To pre-register on IOS or Android, hit the buttons below.
