Overview
- Tam Lin Gawain has two HP bars (361k, 470k HP), and this battle has two mandatory Support Servants: Altria Caster and Oberon Archer. Masters can still select a friend Support as well.
- A helpful effect at battle start reduces the boss's Damage Resist by 20% (combined with the boss's 70% Damage Resist passive, this becomes 50% Damage Resist total).
- The boss also will gain the Threat to Humanity trait.
- The boss gains Berserker offensive Class advantage at battle start, and gains a permanent ATK buff with every enemy she defeats. A random ally also gets inflicted with Target Focus every turn.
- On break, the boss will get a 10% ATK buff with every normal attack, which lasts 5 turns, causing the boss's damage to quickly accumulate as turns pass.
Team Recommendations
- Archer single target damage dealers are all excellent choices, with Arts damage dealers being a decent choice since Altria Caster is a mandatory support. However, any Archer, as well as some other Classes such as Berserkers, will do well.
- Trait-bonus damage dealers are also a good idea, with some notable mentions that also have Class advantage being Gilgamesh, Tesla, and Mysterious Heroine X (Alter). MHXA with her NP upgrade notably gets bonus damage against Sabers and Good-alignment, both of which apply to the boss.
- NP Gauge and Damage Support is helpful, although note that only 1x Altria Caster can be run for this battle. However, both NPCs (Altria Caster and Oberon) are great as Supports themselves, so they aren't entirely dead slots. The usual of Merlin, Skadi, and Tamamo work great depending on your Card color of choice.
- Mystic Code selection is quite flexible, although the Chaldea Combat Uniform is ever useful for its Order Change ability.
