Introduction

NOTE – At the time of writing, this article’s information was announced as the following and was prepared as this week was originally intended to run.

Hello everyone and welcome to the “Tournament Talk” with Lucus1355 from the ‘GamePress JWA’ Discord.

This week’s tournament is the Third in the Styracosaurus Lux Alliance Championship and it’s a Skills Tournament with no restrictions.

Tournament Format and Rewards

Each tournament match is a 4v4 full battle. Whoever defeats 3 of their opponents 4 creatures will be the winner. In addition, all creatures will be set to Tournament Level (26), have no stat boosts and there are no restrictions on which Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Omega creatures you can use. In the case that both sides lose their 3rd creature in the same turn, then the bout will be declared a draw.

Further to this, please see the Jurassic World Alive Website (here) for how Omega's Stats and Training Points will be affected/distributed when being used in a Skills Tournament.

With all this in mind, there will be available to use:

  • 42 Common
  • 74 Rare
  • 90 Epic
  • 71 Legendary
  • 6 Omega

With the rewards for this tournament being Boosts:

Boost Rewards

Used predominantly to increase the health, damage and speed stats of your creatures.

Omegas

The Omega creatures bring a new twist to the tournament format due to most of their abilities being unlocked as they level up. However, they are only allowed to use certain abilities dependent on whether they are unlocked and depending on what rarity of creatures are being used in the tournament format.

For more and better explained information please go to the following links (below) to understand these Omega Creatures (Oldest First):

As this is a Common/Rare/Epic/Legendary Tournament, the abilities that Omega creatures can use will be those abilities at Level 16 and below that a player has already unlocked.

If you have not spent any Training Points, they will temporarily be applied evenly to match other Level 26 Dinosaurs during the Skill Tournament. This also applies to Friendly PvP matches. To see what the stats may look like, please go to the JWA Toolbox website where you can select your Omega Creature by clicking on its image. Once here, all you need do would be to click on the 'Preset Points' which should show you what 'applied evenly' will look like on that Omega Creature's stats.

The table below shows the Omega Creatures in Tier Lists. Each column shows a tournament rarity. In each of those columns, it ranks which Omega Creatures with their equivalent ability unlocked, may perform best against creatures of that rarity, in said tournament.

For example, this tournament's highest allowed rarity is Legendary so we would look at the column titled ''16 / Legendary' and run our eyes down it to see which Omega Creatures may perform best in this tournament with their Legendary abilities unlocked.

Furthermore, if you don't have the legendary abilities unlocked for your Omega Creatures, but do have the Epic abilities unlocked, then you can run your eyes down the column titled '11 / Epic' to see which Omega Creatures may perform best in this tournament just with the Epic abilities unlocked.

(This does not, as of yet include Swap-In Abilities, Revenge Abilities and On-Escape Abilities.)
