Introduction
Weekly Calendar Explained
Before we dive in to the week, we'll break down how the weekly event calendar works. First, each day is considered started at 10am Eastern on that day. It is possible that wherever you live, it might actually be the previous or next day, so we wanted to help clarify how they determine what day it is. At this time, event creatures & strike towers will be updated as applicable. This information is also noted on the calendar.
Ever wonder why some weeks we’re given 45 attempts on commons and others only 18 or 27? The reason for this is that the volume of attempts is a simple math calculation based on the rarity and number of options. Take the rarity base number and multiply by the number of options and voila, you have your total allowed attempts! Having more variety in the options yields that many more attempts. The flip side is it may be more difficult to find the creature(s) you favor. Below details the number of attempts assigned to each rarity which is used to determine how many attempts you receive (though occasionally, they stray from this math). This is the total you are allotted across all options, so it is important to select your choices wisely.
- Common = 9 per
- Rare = 6 per
- Epic = 3 per
- Legendary/Unique = 1 total
They recently started putting the number of attempts on the calendar again and sometimes stray from the above. Refer to the calendar for the confirmed counts. Each rarity has a different length of time the spawn lasts followed by a different length of time until respawn after despawn. Commons and Rares will last 1 hour with about 5 minutes between. Epics last 2 hours with about 5 minutes in between.
All strikes and trials are represented on the calendar with the level of difficulty along with how long they last (1 day or 2 days). The trials are shown along the very bottom in gray boxes.
Featured Creatures: Commons
Monday - Tuesday: 36 Attempts
- Allosaurus (Global Dawn/Dusk/Night) (Allosinosurus>Thoradolosaur)
- Dracorex Gen 2 (Global Anytime) (Dracoceratops>Dracoceratosaurus, Phorurex)
- Irritator Gen 2 (Sunday ) (Diplotator>Scaphotator, Suchotator>Thylacotator)
- Sarcosuchus (Battle Exclusive) (Sarcorixis)
This is another solid pool of commons, but we haven't changed our tune from back in September. DG2 has become one of the hottest commodities with the addition of the Phorurex hybrid. Despite being available everywhere, all the time, this is the one we most suggest you target. At 2,000 per fuse, you're going to need over 300,000 DNA to take the new bird from level 21 to 30. Calculate even more if your DG2 isn't level 20 yet. We like Sarco as your second choice being battle exclusive and with Rixis still being a solid force even after the nerf a couple updates ago. From there, we'd go with Irritator Gen 2 for being day of the week locked and feeding a great hybrid in Thyla. Allo are very prevalent during its spawn times, but if you are working on Allison or Thor, you will need quite a lot and perhaps that could make this one your choice. Our Discord community is all over Draco2 with none of the others even coming close in our voting poll.
Featured Creatures: Rares
Wednesday - Friday: 18 Attempts
- Albertosaurus (Event Exclusive)
- Gorgosaurus (Thursday ) (Gorgosuchus>Megalosuchus, Scorpius Rex Gen 3)
- Tyrannosaurus Rex Gen 2 (Global Day/Dawn/Dusk) (Indominus Rex Gen 2>Indoraptor Gen 2/Indotaurus, Tyrannolophosaur>Tenontorex)
Like with the Commons, we feel the same about these options as we did a few weeks ago. Here is what we said then: Our top recommendation goes to Albert being Event Exclusive, the newest of the bunch, and perhaps the most frightening base Rare in the game. There isn't currently a hybrid, but any chance we have to stock up on this DNA is a great one. We can see appeal in Gorgo with SR3 being a top arena choice. This one is also only available one day of the week but does seem to be one that spawns quite frequently in its nest (Restaurants). TRex2 isn't an awful choice based on all the hybrids it's responsible for. When compared to our other two options and considering it's a global spawn, we really would suggest you focus your efforts on one or both of the other choices.
The majority of those who voted in our Discord poll are targeting Albert with the other two coming in about evenly split.
Featured Creatures: Epics
Saturday - Sunday: 9 Attempts
- Acrocanthosaurus (Local 3 Day/Dawn/Dusk) (Acrocanthops)
- Allosaurus Gen 2 (Event Exclusive) (Alloraptor)
- Tyrannosaurus Rex (Global Anytime) (Indominus Rex>Erlidominus, Indoraptor>Trykosaurus)
We will also reiterate here what was said last time. Based on the Event Exclusivity, we recommend Allo2 as your top choice. We do also like Acro for its strong hybrid and could make a solid case for making this your choice. TRex isn't the optimal target, but it does feed a number of hybrids for which you'll need tons of DNA to work on.
Our Discord community is about split between Acro & Allo2 with very few saying they want that mighty TRex.

Free Cash Link
GamePress is excited to be able to provide weekly cash links worth $50 cash in game! The code can only be claimed once a week and you must click on it using the device you play JWA with. It will be active from Monday, 12 PM EST - Sunday, 12 PM EST every week. This is a promotional code provided courtesy of Ludia, Inc and is exclusive to GamePress. We will post this link in an article we publish each week. We will post all articles on our Twitter so follow us at NewsJWA on Twitter so you don't miss out!
If you enjoy our content, please help let others know this is the source of the cash links people just post for the taking all over social media. The same goes for YouTubers PokeFodder, Gaming Beaver, and Gaming Ells. All links have a purpose behind them, and that is to promote some kind of media and drive traffic. Most people simply do not know there is actually a purpose behind these links, and we'd like to try to educate as many as we can. Take a moment to politely explain this in these posts. It isn't free money some random stranger on the internet whipped up. Every time these links are shared, it is taking opportunity away from an intended purpose. Please think about that or maybe find some time to visit Gaming Beaver, PokeFodder, GamePress JWA, and the Ludia social medias.
*We can not control when Ludia officially deploys these links, but these are the times they are planned to be active.
