Introduction

Explorers! Today, we have a very special article for you! A while ago, I had the fortune of being able to interview the rising star of JWA YouTubers: IDGT902. This well-known personality in JWA is one of the founding members of the Apex Predators alliance, and consistently a top player in Tournaments and the Arena. I talked with them about two aspects, those being his YouTube channel, as well as his overall JWA experience! I want to thank IDGT for taking the time to come and talk to us about his YouTube channel and JWA in general, sharing his insights with us! This might not be the last time you see some of IDGTs content on our page, be on the lookout for future collaborations!

His YouTube videos are uploaded in our Content Creator section of our Discord Server, but just in case you are not on there (what are you doing, come join us!), here is a link to his YouTube channel!

Now, with that out of the way, let's get into the interview! It has been broken down into two sections, the YouTube channel and JWA experience.

YouTube Channel Questions

First question: Who is the team behind the YouTube channel? We have seen names like PracticeKat, GhostCat, Samguy and our very own PiereBot appear, is there anyone else?

The team behind the IDGT902YouTube channel is Practicekat (PK) and myself.  From the start we wanted the channel to be a collaborative effort to help the community from all different angles.  With that being the mission, we work regularly with other Apex Predators, Game Press, and several community- minded top players in Jurassic World Alive.  Samguy shares his incredible darting tutorials.  Eduardo does a fantastic video series on the Game Press tier list.  Piere is a regular contributor with her amazing analysis on many topics and GhostCat (GC) helps regularly with PVP videos as well.

You have been a prominent member of the JWA Community, being one of the top players in the game for years. What inspired you to create the YouTube channel?

This past October, our wonderful alliance mates - Stickerszz, Poetze, Endogdjin, Sebbi & Moe introduced us to streaming battles. They showed us exactly how to do it. I've always been a little shy, but I started streaming inside the alliance discord and found I really enjoyed it. PK and I wanted to expand on that and share tips and strategy with the community. I am working on talking in some videos.... maybe soon!

What type of video do you enjoy making the most?

We have many different types of videos and community content on the YT channel, but my favourite will always be the PVP. It is my favourite part of the game and I really enjoy discussing them with everyone in the comments section.

Through the YouTube Community system, you interact a lot with your community, such as letting them choose a dinosaur featured in a future video. Is there any other method that you interact with your fans?

We do have plans to add some other elements and ways to interact with IDGT902 YouTube in the near future. PK and I are always learning and looking to improve, but! I just learned how to use YouTube.... so, in a little bit! (LOL)

Recently, one of your videos took off, being "Darting Arctalces with Samguy!", reaching over 400k views in a few days. What was your reaction to this? Did it create a surge of new fans of the YouTube channel?

Yes! We gained about 1000 subs in that time (which is a lot for our small channel) - it was very exciting!

Is there any particular content planned for the future? Give us a sneak peek into the future of the IDGT YouTube channel if you will.

There are quite a few things planned for the future. We were recently invited by Ludia to showcase some beta build content for the 2.14 update and we are beyond thrilled to do that for the communiyt. We are also putting together a tutorial series and thinking about implementing an occasional livestream. But what we are most looking forward to, hopefully, is working with Ludia on a Cash link for the community.

JWA-related Questions

What do you enjoy the most about JWA right now?

The community and the players. I have made so many life-long friends. I used to live and breathe PVP - but at this point, it is just a grind. I am more centered around Tournaments now, mainly Advantage. I do enjoy the hunt when new creatures drop, gotta beat PK to 30!

What do you dislike the most about JWA right now?

I dislike the Partial Resistances of Stun and Swap Prevention and the meta being centered around three of the bigger RNG creatures we have now, those being Phorurex, Indotaurus and Scorpios Rex G3. The RNG centered around these three creatures can change a match in an instant and really remove any skilled gameplay.

If there is one thing you can change about JWA right away, what would it be?

I would change the trophy system and the scoring it is based on. The 20/40 system is currently based on a +/- 100 points range. I would expand this to 200 to 500. This would probably only be useful for Nublar Shores, but with teams so evenly matched, losing 40 points to someone that is only 100 points below you is brutal.

Do you have a favourite creature to use in battle?

Sinokotaraptor, because of its versatility and ability to bait in Skoonasaurus, Ankylos Lux and Testacornibus.

What is your best JWA memory?

Meeting the love of my life!

If you can share one message to Ludia, what would it be?

You have a solid product with an amazing follwoing here - please continue to keep it fresh, new, and available for players of all experience levels. JWA has so much depth to it now that it can last another 5, 7, 10 years!

Any final thoughts you wish to share?

As always - Good hunting, good battles and good luck! PK and I thank you sincerely for watching and subscribing to our YouTube channel!

Conclusion

And that's that! Thank you once again to IDGT902 for allowing GamePress to interview him. What do you guys think of the answers IDGT gave? Do you agree with them? Let us know in our Discord server, his comment section or down below in this comment section!
