JWA Patch Notes 3.2: QOL Updates

Explorers! Patch Notes for Update 3.2 are here and as always we have all the coverage on everything. This update is dubbed the Omega Outbrust Update, and we have all the info summed up for you here. These are the things designed to improve Quality of Life within the game!

Rather than a single daily calendar to collect rewards from, we can expect to have access to up to FIVE different login calendars of various lengths. This effectively will reward players for playing hard. According to their description, we should expect to get the resources we need to excel in JWA. Hopefully this includes some of the more elusive and expensive resources such as boost tokens, catalysts, and exclusive DNA. 

Below are a couple of images illustrating samples of two different calendar lengths. The notes also emphasize:

...when the release launches, the One-time Big Rewards from the old version of this feature will be available for a limited time in your new Calendar Hub!

This is a nice assurance that we won't lose out on other rewards we've been grinding toward daily up to that point.

As has become the norm with updates, we will receive some new Achievements to pursue. These are as follows:

• YUTYRANNUS RAMPAGE - Win 30 Battles with Yutyrannus on your team.
• CUNNING AND CLASSIC - Defeat 15 Cunning dinosaurs with the ‘93 Classic T rex.
• LONG IN THE CLAW - Evolve Segnotherisaurus to Level 30. 
• REIGN OF FROGS - Collect 3000 Beelzebufo DNA.
• OLOROTITAN COLLECTOR - Collect 500 Olorotitan DNA.
• OMEGA BEGINNINGS - Evolve 3 Omega dinosaurs to Level 6.
• OMEGA COLLECTOR - Evolve 5 Omega dinosaurs to Level 11.
• ALPHA AND OMEGA - Evolve 10 Omega dinosaurs to Level 16

There are no mystery or puzzle achievements, so we'll know what we need to accomplish for each.

This information is fairly vague but does say that the Omegas of this update will be available on the map and does not indicate any will initially be exclusive. In fact, it says Geosternbergia is on the map RIGHT NOW! Be sure to check the spawn guide section of our Discord to find out where. 

As nothing is mentioned about the non-hybrid Nomingia, we will have to assume this will join the likes of Ceratosaurus and Sytracosaurus Lux as event exclusive.

With regards to a returning raid boss, we will see Erlikogamma out there again starting on Wednesday, November 22nd.

The emphasis on Omegas this update continues with what they dub as improvements. They will be increasing the size of the bullseye to help increase the DNA we can collect while darting. They will also be adding more Omega focused missions to our Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Missions.

When this was teased, we were hoping that maybe we'd be able to get Omegas in sanctuaries or that the limits might no longer be shared among multiple creatures. We are bummed that isn't the case but still grateful for these additional opportunities at precious DNA.
