Introduction

Explorers! Holy cannoli do we have a week ahead of us! We do expect a game update this week, though there is no way to know if there will be any kind of migration. Be sure to check back after the update, as recommendations may change if there is a migration. For now, let's go over what we recommend to dart as well as everything else you need to know!

Featured Creatures: Commons

Monday - Tuesday: 36 Attempts

  • Allosaurus (Global Dawn/Dusk/Night)
  • Apatosaurus (Global Day/Dawn/Dusk)
  • Dimetrodon Gen 2 (Global Anytime)
  • Tarbosaurus (Global Anytime)

All of the commons for this week are global, so our suggestion will be for you to follow what best suits your goals. If you are working on Thoradolosaur, you will need loads of Allo and Tarbo. Dime2 is essential for Monolometrodon which then goes on to make Monolorhino. Both hybrids are great to have, so that might motivate you to use your attempts toward Dime2. Even though nothing stands out in this crowd, Apato seems to sit furthest back in the shadows.

Featured Creatures: Rares

Wednesday - Friday: 18 Attempts

  • Amargasaurus (Local 1 Dawn/Dusk/Night)
  • Argentinosaurus (Monday)
  • Giraffatitan (Local 1 Anytime)

The Rare options this week are decent, so you certainly want to spend your time on them. Using an exclusivity scale, then your order of priority would go Argentina, Amarg, then Giraffe. However, solid cases can be made for any of the three based on your personal goals.

If your personal goals are about ultimate hybrids, you'll want to prioritize Argentina. Though not as mighty since 2.1, Maxima still has a strong presence in both Arena and Raids. She is a better hybrid than you'll get out of the other two. Giraffe is pretty handy when leveled up for Advantage tournament, so a tourney slayer may prefer this choice. Amarg feeds very underwhelming hybrids and does not stand out on her own. However, you will need a slew of this DNA if you are a collector and want to work toward Gigaspikasaur, Amargocephalus, and Tragoditis

Featured Creatures: Epics

Saturday - Sunday: 9 Attempts

  • Allosaurus Gen 2 (Event Exclusive)
  • Brachiosaurus (Event Exclusive)
  • Diplodocus (Event Exclusive)

Boy howdy, what a week of Epic decisions!!! We are faced with ALL THREE being EVENT EXCLUSIVE. Ludia sure knows how to deliver a dream that borders on nightmare.

So how do you choose between them? All three of them are forces in Epic tournament (both Skilled and Advantage). Personally, we'd give Diplod a slight edge due to the ultimate hybrid. Ludia opted to gut Maxima recently which makes Gemini a better goal as the game currently stands.

Ain't no blame in your game if you'd prefer Brachi, though. As stated earlier, Maxima still has a great presence on both Arena and Raid teams.

And then there's Allo2, the only one without a Unique hybrid. Due to the fact that Brachi was once wild, we'd give Allo2 an edge as it's always and only been Event Exclusive.

Strike Events, Trials, Scents, Treasure Chase, and Hybrid Pursuit!

On Friday, we have a Megalogaia Epic strike, and on Sunday we have an Epic Counter Attack Strike as well. During the Weekend, we'll also get an Epic Trial. Finally, we've got the regularly scheduled Boost Strikes on Tuesday (Attack), Thursday (HP), and Saturday (Speed).

Scents

The Themed Scent of this week looks to be Charger Scent. This scent features some good stuff. Here is the full list:

  • Dracorex Gen 2
  • Einiosaurus
  • Stygimoloch Gen 2
  • Triceratops Gen 2
  • Dracorex
  • Triceratops
  • Sinoceratops
  • Stygimoloch

Treasure Chase

The treasure chase continues on Saturday & (hopefully) Sunday. You get once chance each for between 500 and 2,500 coins with distance not mattering. It has been confirmed that their intent is only for one pop per day. We can only hope they have plans to eventually change this to the original treasure chase where they refreshed throughout the day and offered much more opportunity at free coins.

Hybrid Pursuit

This Week concludes the Edaphocevia pursuit, so keep your eyes out for the Park spawn, Edaphosaurus!
