Kingdra for PVP

I get a fair bit of use out of my DB/O Kingdra in Ultra - obviously it depends on what your opponent brings to the game, but he's generally a very good performer. I've not tried Kingdra in Great.

If you've got the Candy and dust I'd give him a whirl in Ultra.

I don't know if I would. Powering up to Ultra is a steep investment, and would do more or less what Giratina does in Ultra, and it's also very good in Great League. Dragon Breath on Kingdra is absolutely what you want.

I have a Kingdra in Great League and one in Ultra League. Both have Dragon Breath with Outrage and Blizzard (more useful than Hydro Pump IMO). The Ultra League one is second in only to Giratina in my roster. As someone who always loved Kingdra, I'm very happy that PVP has given him a chance to shine.

1. It's good in both leagues, maybe a bit better in Ultra than in Great. Altaria and Giratina are better dragons in those leagues, but Kingdra has some advantages, like resisting steel and having different options for second charge move.

2. DB absolutely. OR should be the default charge move, but buying a second move will be beneficial.

My WG/B Kingdra shines in Great, wouldn't bother upping to Ultra

Why would you level it up if its at 1500. Try getting another one?
