Mew

My son just got his Mew (89% 14 attack). He really likes it and is going to power it up. We used a few tms and got shadow claw/psyshock. What do you all think? Decent overall moveset? I know it won't be the best at anything but it will make him happy.

Seems to be a good one, mine is 1309 13a/15/14. Started with WF/GK. 17 fast TMs to get SC...When I changed the charged I went GK--Psychic--Bulldoze--Psychic. I would keep yours the second I got it.

I have dragon tail psyshock and it works great. Shadow claw is faster than dragon tail but it is resisted by normal types. I'd still keep it though. I was shooting for that or dragon tail so I'd say it's worth it.

Yeah I really disagree with Gamepress' assertion that settling on Dragon Tail instead of Shadow Claw 'trades coverage for raw damage' in sweeping low-motivation gyms. For this purpose, DT surely offers way better coverage? I don't remember the last time I saw a gym with no normal types in it. Shadow Claw is way more fun to use than DT but I still wouldn't change my Mew any further at this point.

I've managed to TM my way to DT/Psyshock and can't wait to start sweeping gyms with it :-)
