So i was just looking up Aerodactyl, His type is Rock/Flying. Can someone tell me why on his chart Electric and Rock are Super Effective against him? I thought Rock was Resistant to Electric(which i know flying is super effective but thought they would cancel out...) and Why Rock is when Majority of pokemon are resistant to their own types? Serious question, not trying to be smart just want to know if they disregard resistance with the double types.

Ground is resistant to electric, not rock.

If you check the overall type chart, Rock type has no resistance to Electric or Rock type attacks. I had always thought that Rock was resistant too, but I suppose I was mistaken.

Alright, good call. Should probably check that. Just always remember Onyx resisting pikachu in the first TV gym battle. Things change overtime on the Pokemon games though lol.

Which would be correct, since Onix is Ground/Rock, and as stated, Ground resists Electric.

Great now you had me read a SubReddit Thread about Ash's Pikachu vs Brock's Onyx for a rematch. Lol, Who will win?!?

They were saying those specific movesets of those Trainer's pokemon. Meaning Onix only knows dig(as a ground move) and Pikachu also knows Iron Tail.

Why does that gym even have a sprinkler system? Wouldn't a sandstorm pit out a fire just as easily?

And Brock told me to use my trusty frying pan as a drying pan, and that all of ashes Pokémon are water types and completely weak to fire types.
