Aerodactyl usefull?
I finally hatched my Aerodactyl and it came with perfect attacking moveset Bite / Hyperbeam. Now i wonder, if it can be really usefull besides just looking cool.
It has good (not really elite) stats, and as It resists normal attacks and is not sensitive to psychic, dark or ground, it could be called a soft counter to snorlax as ryhorn is called too. Does this prove true in actual gameplay?
Is there another useful matchup that i may have overlooked?

there was a thread yesterday about prestiging and a link fro reddit came up; from there a spreadsheet came up. in there aerodactyl has around 60% efficiency per CP against Snorlax with ZH/BS or HB and bellow 60 for the one with Lick. So does not seam like a good Snorlax prestiging alternative :(. (I have one similar to yours)

I doubt this reddit-table as long as they don't tell what exactly they mean by cp-efficiency. Most likely, they calculate something like
damage dealt until pkm faints without dodging considering moveset, stab and resistances
This approach is not so praxis-relevant as it supports tanky pkm with low attack-stat, (chansey >100%, wigglytuff as reference.....) so it does not take into account training time, what is quite relevant to me.
At the moment, i have 2xx max-Potions, 1xx revives, and 2x disposible ratticates, i don't mind using more training pkm, just to be faster. So the reddit-approach does not apply for me.
The other thing is, that i hoped to use aerodactyl to kill enemy snorlax, not to prestige them. Most likely, this will require a lot of dodging.
you are right, those are not the ultimate guides but they are a good source of info for me and I hope others not so used on prestiging (I'm in minority, so I have to take down usually; I just started a coupke od days ago to prestige to level 7 to see if I can keep a gym for 2-3 days :). And I used rapidash for prestiging Lapras (with A moveset) and was awful hard, I thought it was only my problem, now I'm more easy on me seeing is at the bottom of prestiging fire mons :) )
