While this fight isn’t terribly difficult, it does have a few potentially annoying factors. Musharna’s X Evasion All could be a small issue for some sync pairs, especially if it’s used on Dusknoir, which already has innate Evasion boosts when entering the battle. Dragonite’s defense boosts shouldn’t be an issue if your attacker has a boosted Critical rate, though its damage is fairly solid. 

Skyla & Swanna + Iris & Haxorus + Viola & Masquerain 

Skyla & Swanna is the tank unit for this run. With Defense and Speed boosts plus Potion utility, they will anchor the team perfectly and enable them both offensively and defensively with ease. Using a single sync move with them is recommended if they are Six Star EX unlocked, as the buffs provided are potentially substantial.

Iris & Haxorus may not be the Iris variant that’s being celebrated in this event, but they’re still very strong, and well suited for this battle. Nothing particularly stands in their way here, as even the Dark weak sync pairs fall fairly quickly after taking Outrage a few times, and they can even deal with Lance in short order after a few sync boosts.

Viola & Masquerain are mainly here to strike a defensive balance. While Skyla & Swanna boost Defense, Viola & Masquerain lower enemy Special Attack with Struggle Bug in order to protect the team. They can also inflict a bit of trap damage with Infestation, but it’s not enough to be note-worthy.
