- If the event is the same as the Legendary Birds, it will be a tier 4 raid boss with tier 5 rewards
- Shiny Raikou will be available
Tomorrow marks the first return of Raikou to raids since 2017!
For three hours(4 PM to 7 PM in your local time zone) on June 29, 2019, Raikou will be available as the raid boss in every gym.
No other features for this raid event have been announced. During the previous global challenge rewards, players who caught Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres received them with an exclusive move(Hurricane, Thunder Shock, and Sky Attack respectively.) They also received 5 Raid Passes.
