Less intrest for Tyranitar?
I posted in my community group chat i've been looking for tyranitar raids, and most of them responded with less than enthusiastic comments about wanting to raid them, mostly due to the tyranitar CD.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes.
Where it causes a problem in my area is that people don't report Tyranitar raids in our Discord chat very often. When one gets posted, there's normally 2-3 people willing to go do it - and thankfully Ttar is easy to beat for 2-3 people, particularly in Cloudy weather. But people just aren't posting it anymore.
Here a small number of raids are being reported, Regice has done that to all our raid chats. People don't want to say something and instantly and become the organizer/chat moderator.
Yesterday I did a boosted Golem...when it is single candy I decided boosted Golem about the same as a regular Tyranitar...I would just trade either of them anyway.
Now with the extra candy, regular Tyranitar well worth raiding. I did a crunch Tyranitar in cloudy several weeks ago: 40; 35; 30 and had 93 sec remaining. So some people probably doing them without chatting much about them.
At this point it's likely less need, more want. Dark Tyranitar will be the go-to dark type attacker until Yveltal in Gen 6. Rock Tyranitar is the solid middle ground between Rampardos's DPS and Rhypherior's TDO (I'm assuming they'll both get Stone Edge as Niantic loves giving that to fully evolved Pokemon over Rock Slide). I know people who want 6 of each, dark and rock, and will continue to raid them until they get them.
While far off and much too speculative right now, there's also the mega factor which will make it an absolute beast in both roles.
Ttar is easy to take down with two people, and not wanting to wait for others to join is the reason you won’t hear much. With the same rewards as a tier 5 boss (I constantly get 2 CTMs doing Ttar raids) and a MUCH MUCH better pokemon, there is no reason to do Regice. 1000 larvitar candy is not enough. 3 Regice candy is too many.
In my area of play, there are two types of trainer
One is trainer that still need Ttar or its candy, they report it when it spawn
One is who try to duo it, they dont report, they just raid it themselves..
If you have 2 more trainers willing to trio it, you will be fine with a decent counters
Or if there only 1 trainer interested, still can do if both of you have a team of counter that ready for it.
It’s pretty clear. You have most people that have taken advantage of Tyranitar being a raid boss since almost always/events/ used scanners in the past to hunt down Larvitars
and
You have people like me that can’t spend their free time to play Pokémon Go and got enough candies to evolve X amount of Tyranitars with Smack Down but still used those candies to also power up Dark Ttars and now need more candies to finish powering up Rock Ttars.
That’s aboubt cover it?
