Any reason not to throw away 300 max potions?
Answers
Go for it, I raid like 2-4 times a day and take over gyms similarly, and I never need more than 100 of them in stock (mostly healing with trasher potions to clean up too). I did it when I reached a similar hoarding point, never regretted it.
And no, I don’t use Aggron or Lugia on battles, it’s simply not necessary when you learn to dodge with Machamp, which used to be where I was bleeding most of such items.
So you've got nearly 70% of your total bag capacity dedicated to healing items - only you can decide if that is appropriate based on your play style. As a FTP suburban player that only raids daily (preferably Mewtwo), and can usually drop into a few gyms or flip a demotivated gym with a maxed Machamp, my healing items are now:
- 0-5 revives
- 5-10 max potions
- around 400 max revives
I usually get enough revives or potions to heal the team from M2 raids, so massive excess is just not necessary. Also I want to save rare candy for Gen4, and have 200+ Goldens that accumulate as fast as I use them (obviously not a very competitive gym scene). Instead I'm amassing an arsenal of Pineaps and Great/Ultra balls for Beldun.
Just do it, you'll feel so much better not constantly getting the "out of Storage" message. And a lot cheaper then maxing your storage space!
I feel pretty solid just answering this.
Like, you have 500 Max potions, you're struggling with bag space, and you're just now considering throwing away some?
What's the use of Max revives if you just use revive+potion??
This is such a no-brainer. Especially since it depends on your personal play style.
