Ditto capture ring colour?
I'm still yet to catch a Ditto, but after reading the Ditto mechanics page I'm curious about the information you can get before throwing a ball...
It says that Ditto's base capture rate is significantly lower than the pokemon it often disguises as. So my question is, if I see a ~250 CP Pidgey that's actually a Ditto, would the capture circle show as if it were Pidgey too, or show the true capture rate? (basically yellow-green versus orange-red).
If it shows Pidgey's capture colour that seems pretty unfair - I'm selecting a pokeball because it indicates the pokemon is easy to catch when in reality it isn't!
Similarly, if it shows the true colour, that'd be a pretty insane give-away that you're looking at a Ditto and not a Pidgey...
It's really important to me because I've been wasting a lot of Pokeballs/Greatballs on pokemon I wouldn't otherwise catch. I mean, Pidgey is fine since I'm only 28 and need XP from evolves still, but the Spearows and Zubats are getting annoying to waste balls on (I really don't have enough... constantly running out and only have ultraballs that I don't want to waste in case I find something good).
