Why do I sometimes not get an egg from a gift....

.... when I have < than 9 eggs?

This is very annoying when I open gifts from overseas friends. I don't see a pattern.

It keeps me from spinning stops and collecting gifts 'cause I don't want any yellow eggs.

I don't get if you want or not want 7k eggs but in any case they are random loot from gifts. Just like spinning a stop, you are not guaranteed to get an egg. Simple as that.

Yes I want 7k eggs! It's just odd because sometimes I open several gifts in a row when I have egg slots available and each one has an egg. I guess that waz just luck.
