Back to the start we go, as our next Community Day takes to the ponds and lakes of Kanto, hunting for a simple little tadpole Pokemon. I remember hunting for Poliwag back in 2019 in preparation for The Silph Road's Sinister Cup, where Poliwrath was my VIP. And even now its evolutions have some utility in PvP, so this will definitely be a good event for some!

- Poliwag will spawn en-masse and with a greatly increased Shiny rate

- 1/4 Egg Hatch distance, 2x Catch Candy, 2x odd of XL Candy for players Lv.31+, 3 hour Incense and Lures, and a limited number of Snapshot Photobombs
- A $1.00 Special Research line will be available in the shop
- It will be possible to encounter Poliwhirl in Four-Star Raids. Completing a Poliwhirl raid will cause Poliwag to spawn around the gym at Community Day levels, even after Community Day has ended.

Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day

After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on special four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Poliwag to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!

You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these Raid Battles.

Bonus for completing four-star Raid Battles
Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Poliwhirl, additional Poliwag will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Poliwag!*
*Poliwag that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during July Community Day’s three-hour event period.

Timed Research awarding King’s Rocks will be available between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. local time.
Field Research
July Community Day–themed Field Research will be available! Catch Poliwag to earn rewards such as additional encounters with Poliwag, King’s Rocks, Ultra Balls, and more!
Stickers
You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
