1 Point Difference of Def for Lugia, Negligible isn't it?

Hello hope a help to answer this.. Is a 1 point lack in defence for lugia negligible?

I got 98% lugia with 15/14/15 stats.. I know lugia is best in def so makes me wonder is it difference having 14def compare to 15def lugia

Answers

Every 5th Raid battle, the 15def Lugia will last for 1 more Quick Move when you're attacking a Machamp Raid Boss and you don't dodge at all.

I think the difference is pretty negligible in most situations, unless you're battling 1v1 against a weather-boosted Machamp. See post here:

Lugia has a HHUGGEE base defense (323), so the difference is very small.
