Finger Tracking Lag When Spinning/Throwing Pokeballs?

Hi all, so I just got a new phone (Honor 7x - I'm pretty sure it's an Amazon-exclusive brand) and was really excited to have a better PoGo experience, since it has better specs than my old phone. However, I've noticed that whenever I try to spin a pokeball for a curveball or throw the pokeball, the ball seems to lag behind my finger a bit. I didn't notice this issue on my old iPhone 5s, but the screen was a lot smaller, so maybe it did have that issue and I just didn't notice. Anyway, has anyone else experienced something like this? Is it something normal that I just need to get used to, or is there a fix of some sort? The game runs smoothly otherwise.

This happens consistently on my old phone. Both the new and old one are Samsung, but the latter is 3 or 4 generations behind the other. I'd say it is a software issue lagging down the user input. Not many solutions I can think of besides resetting it or looking for a ROM but I wouldn't recommend that unless you are very phone savvy.

Got this currently on my S8 already for more than a year. Sometimes it's even as bad that when I want to throw the ball, the ball simply falls on the floor.

For me it helps to close all other hemps
Reduces the lag somewhat.

I also notice I have this issue. I've noticed the more I play on a single device instead of swapping between my two phones, the less bad it is. Possibly I'm subconsciously adjusting to it?

Thanks for the responses guys, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm going to keep playing on my new phone and see if it gets better (or if I can just get used to it).
