Tales from the Silph Road: Go Tour, Hoenn News

Submit Feedback or Error

Enjoying Go Tour: Hoenn? A lot of people are right now, and many more are taking to different social media outlets to share their achievements, trophies, complaints, and findings. Naturally, the most useful place to do this is generally going to be Reddit, and across all of reddit, few sources for Pokemon Go news and information compare with The Silph Road. This super-highway for the Pokemon Go community is extremely active, and is where all of the latest news tends to strike first, so given the currently running event we thought it appropriate to look at a handful of the threads that really stand out to us due to their utility during this all-important event. So sit back, relax, and let's take a look at a few of the highlights that are hot today.

Regional Pokemon: Eggs Only

Due to the way that the actual event-page is laid out, there has been a bit of confusion in the community in regards to the regional Pokemon Relicanth, Tropius, and Torkoal. The page listed them as shiny-available in a section that dealt with spawns, so many players (including us) were under the impression that they would be available in the wild. Well, Reddit user u/milotic03 has re-posted Niantic Support's official clarification on that matter. Better get to hatching those eggs!

6 p.m. Curfew for Regional Hatches

And speaking of regionals and eggs! u/g2615 has reported that our eggs turn into duds after 6 p.m. Better get to hatching!

Latias mega Energy from Spins

An under-reported bit of information comes from u/Weakgainer0; it looks like Mega Latias Energy is available from stops! And according to the comments below, players who went the Ruby route can find Mega Latios energy while Sapphire players are gaining Mega Latias energy as seen in the image? This lines up with reports of Latias spawning in the wild for Sapphire players, while Latios spawns for Ruby players. Can't confirm this myself, so please let us know in the comments which you're getting.

The Holy Flork

The remarkably intelegent u/tforge13 has put together an immaculate raid guide for the Primals, one that arguable surpasses the quality of our own. This work of art must be appreciated for its depth and impeccable humor!

Closing

That's it for now, we'll be sure to keep you all posted if we find any additional information that seems important. If you come across any new or interesting information, please let us know in the comments or on our Discord. You can tag me (Raven8#5530) any time, as I SHOULD be around all weekend to keep up with new information.. For now, have a happy Go Tour!
