Pokemon Description

Meditite undertakes rigorous mental training deep in the mountains. However, whenever it meditates, this Pokémon always loses its concentration and focus. As a result, its training never ends.

Pokemon Analysis

Overview

Low Bulk and Damage output is a tough sell, but Meditite’s Trainer Moves are super Supportive and go that extra mile.

These pros and cons together overall make Meditite an overall decent Support option--especially for a 3 star.

Strengths

Critical Support

“Gloves Off!” is basically “Dire Hit All” and “X Sure Hit All” all wrapped up into one, which saves time on powering up the Team and makes for some devastating AoE Attacks. This and “X Attack All” means that Critical Physical Strike Teams will have all the Support they need.

Weaknesses

Average Bulk

She’s not the Bulkiest of Supports, in fact, there are several non-Supports who are Bulkier. She makes up for this somewhat with Drain Punch and the On the Ropes 3 Passive Skill, but even these are limited.

Drain Punch’s Damage output is a bit low for its cost and it doesn’t heal much either.

On the Ropes 3 is essentially a more situational version of Endurance.

Not a Heavy Hitter

As mentioned earlier, Drain Punch is a little weak for its cost. Meditite’s Sync Move isn’t much better. It has no additional effects and only has a max Power of 240--generally, Sync Moves with no additional effects have a max Power of 300.

Team Synergy

Critical Fists

While there are tons of better Support options, “Gloves Off!” is a pretty good reason all on its own to have Meditite as the Team’s Support. Physical Strike Teammates would fully utilize Meditite’s place on the Team.
